About Our Property

Who We Are

We are a small compound that offers a home-like environment to our guests.  Set in the residential Nob Hill area of Albuquerque's southeast heights, we're easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, pubs, and rapid transit.

What We Are

This compound is made up of the main house and 3 one-bedroom fully-furnished apartments.

Built in 1935, the main house had three studio apartments added in 1955. The current owner moved into the property Thanksgiving weekend 2008.  Since then the property has undergone 3 major remodeling stages.  

 

During the initial remodeling, the garage was added on the alley and a living room added to apartment #3.  The leaky gas lines were removed, the water line replaced , front and back yards re-landscaped--the backyard became a courtyard, the front yard became an enclosed patio with fruit trees and irrigation. Parking was enhanced.

During the 2017 remodeling the 3 studio apartments were transformed into 2 one-bedroom apartments.  The main house lost its non-functioning fireplaces and gained a central open concept for the kitchen and living and dining rooms, the bedrooms gained a new closet configurations, and the courtyard pergolas gained metal roofs.

The most recent major remodeling projects focused on improvements to the house and apartment #3 and finished in 2021.
